About Us

The Missouri Health Family Credit Union was chartered on December 7, 1954 as Missouri Health Credit Union. Over the years the credit union has held other names (Missouri Division of Health Credit Union and Health and Social Services Employees' Credit Union) and on January 22, 2007 it assumed the name Missouri Health Family Credit Union. Even though it has had several different names over the years, its field of members has stayed basically the same. The credit union has had different locations as well. The first was acutally inside the Health Department itself. After the Health Department had a reorganization, the Credit Union found its own office on Southwest Boulevard in Jefferson City. The Credit Union is now located at 3349 American Avenue, Jefferson City, Missouri.

Who can be a Member?

The field of membership shall be limited to employees of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Missouri Department of Social Services, city and county health departments and county nursing services affiliated with the Department of Health, and spouses, children, grandchildren, and parents of credit union members. The field of membership also includes contractors of the Department of Health.
